Burger King is a fast food hamburger chain restaurant that started in 1953 as “Insta Burger King”. After Insta Burger King ran into financial struggles two franchisee’s bought the corporation and renamed it “Burger King“. Burger King ownership has changed multiple times since it was founded. The Burger King flagship burger has been “The Whopper” which was added to the menu in 1957. The Whopper is one quarter pound beef patty, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion on a sesame seed bun. Burger King operates restaurants in many countries including Australia. Only in Australia they are known as “Hungry Jacks” instead of Burger King. Some other popular menu items found at Burger King are it’s breakfast Croissanwich and mini-muffins. Burger King also offers different menu items in different parts of the world and recently added the Impossible Whopper, a meatless burger, to the menu.
